Connect with someone
- 1Find them through Discover People or on a post, and open their profile.
- 2Press Connect. Add a note (up to 300 characters) or choose Send without a note.
- 3The button shows Pending until they accept, then Connected.
Requests you receive are under Network, then Requests, with Accept and Decline. If a request was declined, either of you can send a new one later. To end a connection, open the profile and choose Remove Connection.
Follow is separate from connecting: one press, and you see that person's posts in your feed.
Messages
- You can message your connections. A message can be up to 5,000 characters.
- You can reply to a message, attach images and PDFs, and share a post with Send via Message.
- If someone sets messages to Nobody in their privacy settings, no one can message them.
Block or report
- Block from a profile, or Block user from a post. Neither of you can then connect, message, react or comment. Unblock in Settings, then Privacy, then Blocked accounts.
- Report a member for spam, harassment, a fake profile or an inappropriate photo. Report a message from the message itself. Our moderators review every report.
