Notifications, privacy and your account

Notification settings, account security, your data, and deleting your account.

Notifications

The bell shows your notifications, grouped by New, Today and earlier, with Mark all as read. In Settings, then Notifications, you can turn on push notifications (on an iPhone, add Nerusalem to your Home Screen first) and choose which emails you get. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Account and security

  • Change Email: we confirm it at the new address.
  • Change Password: you need your current password. New passwords are 8 to 72 characters.
  • Two-factor sign-in: we email you a code each time you sign in.
  • Download My Data: a copy of your data as a file.

Privacy

In Settings, then Privacy: who sees your profile and connections, who can message you, your online status, and the people you have blocked. Recruiter visibility is in step 3 of your profile.

Delete your account

    Go to Settings, then Account, then Delete My Account.
  2. 2
    Type DELETE and press Confirm Delete.

Deleting is permanent and happens straight away: your profile, posts, messages, connections, points and verification documents are removed. Download your data first if you want a copy.
